1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement made between you and Anyi ("we," "our," or "us"), concerning your access to and use of the Anyi mobile application and the myanyi.com website. By accessing the platform, registering for our waitlist, or creating an account, you agree that you have read, understood, and accept all of these Terms.

2. Eligibility (Strictly 18+ Adults Only)

Anyi is an adult-only social networking platform. You must be at least 18 years of age or older to create an account, register on our waitlist, or use our services. By using Anyi, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and have the full right and authority to enter into this agreement.

Accounts belonging to individuals under 18 years of age will be terminated immediately upon discovery, and all associated personal data will be permanently removed.

3. User Accounts & Identity Badging

When creating an account on Anyi, you agree to provide accurate and complete registration information. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

• Cultural Profile Badges: Cultural origin and residence badges are intended to foster authentic diaspora connection. Misrepresentation of identity or fraudulent badging intended to deceive community members is prohibited.
• Account Security: You must notify us immediately at hello@myanyi.com if you suspect any unauthorized access to your account.

4. Community Guidelines & Acceptable Conduct

Anyi is dedicated to building a respectful, safe space for the global African diaspora. You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:

• Posting hate speech, harassment, bullying, discrimination, or abusive content targeting individuals or communities.
• Sharing explicit, pornographic, or illegal content in public feeds, community hubs, or direct messages.
• Impersonating another person, business, or entity.
• Sending unsolicited promotional spam, bulk messages, or commercial solicitation.
• Attempting to reverse engineer, disrupt, or compromise the platform's security, API, or infrastructure.

5. User Content & Intellectual Property

You retain full ownership rights to any text, photos, media, or other content you upload or transmit through Anyi. However, by posting content, you grant Anyi a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, and distribute your content solely for operating and promoting the platform.

All Anyi branding, logos, graphics, visual interfaces, code, and app design assets remain the exclusive property of Anyi and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

6. Paid Services & In-App Purchases (No Refund Policy)

Anyi may offer optional paid features, premium subscriptions, badge enhancements, or virtual digital items ("In-App Purchases") within the mobile application or website.

• No Refunds for Digital Goods: All purchases of digital services, subscriptions, and virtual goods are final. Because digital services are made available immediately upon completed payment, there are no refunds, credits, or proration for digital services or in-app purchases once completed.
• Subscriptions: If you purchase a recurring subscription, you may cancel at any time to prevent future billing cycles. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period, and no partial refunds will be issued for remaining unused days.
• App Store Payments: Purchases processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store are governed by the payment terms and refund procedures of the respective app store platform.

7. Termination & Account Deletion

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account at our sole discretion, without prior notice, if you violate these Terms, breach community standards, or fail to meet the 18+ age requirement. In the event of account termination for violation of Terms, any remaining digital purchases or subscriptions will be forfeited and remain non-refundable.

You may request voluntary account termination and permanent data deletion at any time by contacting hello@myanyi.com.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

Anyi is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding uptime, reliability, or uninterrupted service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Anyi shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use or inability to use the platform.
